To provide more awareness to users when incompleting IEPs or making an amendment, we have added a new prompt dialogue for when users attempt to create an amendment. The language is as follows:
"WARNING! This will add a new formal amendment to the document. If you wish to make a correction only and avoid creating an amendment, go back to the student’s Documents list, select this document, and choose Actions > Incomplete. Note that this action can only be taken by an administrative user to ensure administrative oversight."
Resetting a document status from complete to incomplete may be necessary if a complete document requires a change (but not a formal amendment). Only administrative users are allowed to reset documents to incomplete in order to ensure administrative oversight. Directions for how to incomplete a document can be found here.
