Planned Special Education Required Forms Changes - Ohio

Ohio's Office for Exceptional Children has been working to update required Special Education forms. OEC has communicated that it has now added what it deems to be the necessary content to draft forms. As the next step in the form update process, OEC is soliciting feedback from users and other stakeholders.

On May 23rd, OEC is hosting a discussion among vendors regarding the interaction between proposed form updates and vendor software. Similar to 2019/2010 when Ohio's Special Education forms were last updated, SameGoal will participate in this discussion in Columbus. As a vendor serving almost half the Ohio student population, we will work with OEC to ensure form updates are incorporated in the software in an accurate and timely manner.

As SameGoal learns additional information about form updates and timelines from OEC, we will communicate this information. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the helpdesk.
