Based on user feedback this fall, we have recently released the following updates:
The "Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan" Fall 2016 template published by ODE has been added to SameGoal, in addition to the Fall 2013 template. Districts may choose which template(s) to use:
Both. If your district would like to use both templates, no action is needed to add the Fall 2016 template; you will see both throughout the program. If your district uses user groups, update appropriate groups to include permissions for this new form.
Updated Fall 2016 form only. Delete the existing "Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan". If your district uses user groups, update appropriate groups to include permissions for this new form.
Prior RIMP version only. Delete the new "Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan (Fall 2016)".
If your district uses groups and your above choice requires user group updates, failing to make them may result in users not being able to create and/or access documents.
A number of districts have requested Appendix B of Ohio's Accessibility Manual be added as a PNP (Personal Needs Profile) form. This form is currently available under the form's original name: "PNP: IEP or 504 Plan Decision-Making Tool". Minor updates to this and other PNP forms have been made for clarity.
An additional question has been added to IEP Section 12: "The child is excused from the consequences of not passing End of Course (EOC) assessments in the following subjects:" Subject options include those added to the EMIS FE record in Fall. While updated IEP forms are expected to be released by ODE in 2017, this additional question has been added meanwhile to help districts record exemptions to EOC assessments. The "EMIS at a Glance (IEP)" and EMIS FE report have also been updated to include EOC assessments.
New options to run EMIS reports selectively by document status and building have been added.
