Enhanced Deadline features

Beginning Friday, 01/01/2021, deadline information will be visible when hovering over the program badge for any student (eg the purple “SE” icon for special education). When staff click “More details” in the hover card under deadlines information, they are taken to the student's “Deadlines” tab to view more detailed information.

Additional deadline features for districts using SameGoal Plus Edition:

• Visual indicator of upcoming deadlines: A yellow, orange or red dot will appear in the top right corner of each student's program badge when deadlines are coming due.

  • Yellow dot: Student has a deadline due in 8-30 days.
  • Orange dot: Student has a deadline due in 0-7 days.
  • Red dot: Student has a past due deadline.

• Deadlines list and calendar: A new “Deadlines” tab will appear in the left menu. This page displays all deadlines assigned to the logged in user for any student. If the user is an administrator, they are also able to optionally see deadlines for “All students district-wide” by clicking a checkbox. Users can choose to view deadlines in the following ways using a dropdown menu:

  • List: All deadlines appear in a list format, with those coming due most quickly to top.
  • Day, Week or Month (calendar view): All deadlines appear in a calendar view for the selected time period. Clicking on each deadline in the calendar displays a hover card with additional information and links regarding the student, assignee or how the deadline was determined.
