We recently made a couple of exciting updates to our translation feature, which is available to districts on the PRO edition of SameGoal:
With the addition of translation completion notifications, when a translator marks a form or document translation complete, a notification will be sent to whomever requested the translation. These new notifications will help to streamline translation workflows as users will no longer need to manually check to see if a translation has been finalized.
Users can change how they receive notifications (i.e. in-app, email, web push) by updating their notification preferences.
Document translations will now run validation checks to ensure all fields have been translated before a translation can be marked complete. When a translator attempts to complete a translation, if there are fields that have not been translated, a Validation Errors warning will pop up with a list of the remaining errors.
This will help to ensure that translators do not accidentally leave fields blank or mark translations complete prematurely. If a field truly does not need to be translated, the translator can select This field is not translatable in order to satisfy the validation check.
Once all translation validation checks have been satisfied, the translator can mark the translation complete.
