Out-of-State Transfers

Students transferring from another district may have already been enrolled in special education and may have had special program documentation done at their previous school. However, special education forms, processes, and eligibility requirements differ from state to state. This means if the student is transferring from out-of-state, you will need to complete the full special education workflow from the beginning.

1. Create an Upload document for the student and attach any documents from the student's previous school.
2. Follow the Initial Referral for Special Education workflow.
