Infinite Campus Demographics Integration - OneRoster

This integration imports student and parent demographics data from Infinite Campus into SameGoal on a nightly basis. Demographics information appears on each student's "Details" tab in SameGoal, and auto-copies into documents as they are created for each student.

To setup demographics integration with Infinite Campus:

In Infinite Campus link

Enable a OneRoster Connection to SameGoal

1. Select SameGoal from the Digital Learning Applications Configuration tool or by clicking Add Application.
2. Expand OneRoster Connections and click Generate New OneRoster Connection.
3. In the popup that displays, leave OneRoster 1.2 selected and click Generate.
4. Update the Name of the connection to "SameGoal Demographics".
5. Leave Demographics selected in the Data to Share section.
6. By default, 1.2 connections are scoped to all schools in the district. If desired, expand Enabled Schools and select which school should be included in this connection.
7. Fields in the Information to Share with SameGoal section will be copied/pasted into SameGoal as detailed below.

To setup demographics integration:

1. Login as an administrator.
2. Visit Settings > District Information.
3. Under the "Infinite Campus" section on this page, click "add Digital Learning Partner Nightly Demographics".
4. Enter connection information generated in Campus as described above. This includes:
   • Base URL
   • Access Token URL
   • Client ID
   • Client Secret

It may take up to 24 hours for this integration to run. A good way to tell if this integration has run is to visit a student's "Basics" tab in SameGoal. Their "Internal SIS Student Id" should be of format XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Prior SIF link

If your district previously used SIF-based demographics integration, remove the SIF-based configuration. If both demographic integration methods are enabled, the SIF-based integration may overwrite OneRoster values, which can cause other integration methods to fail.

To remove SIF-based demographics integration:

• In SameGoal:
  • Visit Settings > District Information > Details.
  • Under the "Infinite Campus" section on this page, remove "SIF URL".
• In Campus:
  • Remove the "SameGoal" SIF zone located under System Administration > Data Interchange > Zones.
  • Remove the "SameGoal" SIF agent located under "System Administration > Data Interchange > Agents.

If your district currently uses outline link-based document viewer integration, it will no longer work after OneRoster demographics integration is configured. Transition to the LTI-based document viewer integration.
