This integration automatically sets a flag in Campus nightly for each student in SameGoal that has a "Program Participation" badge (is determined to be participating in a given program based on completed documents in SameGoal).

When clicked, each program flag in Campus launches a secure display of the completed plan document for that special program in SameGoal, thereby streamlining communication and collaboration.

This integration may be configured for all supported Special Programs in SameGoal at once, or separately (e.g. one at a time, with different cutover dates for each program). This is helpful in the case a district uses SameGoal originally for Special Education only, then expands SameGoal use to 504, etc over time.

Steps
To setup the document viewer integration with Infinite Campus:

Add flags link

Create flags. For each Special Program in SameGoal your district wishes to integrate a flag for:

  1. Navigate to the Flags Setup tool and click New.
  2. Give the flag a Name and leave the Active checkbox marked. Flags must be configured in Campus to match SameGoal's naming convention for each Special Program. These names vary state-to-state, but can be found as the "Form Group" name within SameGoal (i.e. the group name that appears in the "Create new" dropdown in SameGoal for each group of forms). Common examples include:
    • Special Education
    • Section 504
    • Advanced Learners
    • K-4 Literacy
    • English Learners
  3. Mark the Flagged checkbox to display the flag for students who have it assigned. Select a color and image.
  4. Mark the Special Ed checkbox in order to allow SameGoal to identify this flag and make a connection with it. All flags used for this integration must have the box "Special Ed" checked, even if the flag is for another program (think of the checkbox as synonymous with special programs).
  5. Click Save when finished.

If you want this integration to "take over" an existing flag, submit a Campus Support case asking to configure your district's existing program flag(s) (specify which) for SameGoal's Digital Learning Partner integration. Campus will:

  1. Visit Settings > District Information.
  2. Under the "Infinite Campus" section on this page, click "add Digital Learning Partner Document Viewer".
  3. Enter the LTI connection information generated in Campus. This includes:
    • Public Keyset URL
    • OpenID Endpoint
    • Deployment ID
    • Client ID
    • Cutover Dates (for each special program)
