We’re excited to be kicking off the second semester of the 2023/24 school year! We had several exciting updates and new features that were released during the first half of the school year. In case you missed anything, here’s a summary of recent announcements and changes.
Refresher Training - As users are coming back after winter break, it might be helpful to brush up on some of SameGoal’s functionality. We are holding several refresher training sessions from January 17th to January 26th. Learn more.
Product Updates Webinar - We will be holding Product Update Webinars for Texas and Ohio where we will walk through new and updated forms and demonstrate new features. Learn more.
Buildings - Buildings now act as their own record item in SameGoal. With an active demographics integration with your SIS, buildings will be created and updated automatically, but administrative users may also create and manage buildings automatically. Additionally, there is a new Building filter on the Students / create new tab. Learn more.
Bulk Document Creation - You may now create documents for multiple students at the same time. Learn more.
Call-In Codes are Live - Call-In Codes launched at the beginning of semester one and as of October 1st, users are required to provide their Call-In Code when contacting SameGoal’s helpdesk. Learn more.
Auto-Approve Translation Requests - Districts using the translation feature may now choose to enable auto-approval of translation requests in order to bypass administrator approval. Learn more.
Non-PDF Attachments - Previously, only PDF attachments could be uploaded to SameGoal. SameGoal now supports several new file types. Learn more.
Deadline Reports and Printing - Administrative users can now run deadline reports, and users on the Pro or Plus edition of SameGoal can print their deadlines calendar. Learn more.
Bank Values Updates - We’ve made multiple changes to bank values to make them easier to use including extending the bank width for smaller fields so they’re easier to read. Learn more.
New and Updated Forms - Several new forms have been added and many existing forms have been updated.
1EdTech Certifications - SameGoal has 1EdTech certifications for Data Privacy, Competencies and Academic Standards Exchange (CASE) Service v1.0, OneRoster 1.2, and Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) v1.3. Learn more.
