Given coronavirus school closures, many districts have reached out regarding best practices and tools for working and conducting parent meetings remotely. Below are a few key ways SameGoal can help:
Electronic signatures - parents (NEW! COMING 3/23/20): In response to coronavirus closures, SameGoal is releasing a new remote electronic parent signature feature Monday, 3/23/20. Parents/guardians will have the ability to follow a link shared with them to view electronic documentation and enter their signatures. NOTE: Electronic signatures must be enabled. This new feature will remain free for all districts for the remainder of the fiscal year, and available through SameGoal Plus beginning July 1, 2020. Learn more
Electronic signatures - staff: District staff may enter their signatures electronically throughout the program. If your district does not have electronic signatures currently enabled, a user with admin permissions in SameGoal may enable them by visiting Settings > District Information > Details. Find the Electronic Signatures section and uncheck Disabled. NOTE: Currently logged in users will need to log out and log back in to see the change.
Chat: Chat is built directly into SameGoal and can be found by clicking the conversation bubble icon in the left menu. All logged in Online Colleagues are displayed and may be chatted with unless they have explicitly signed out of chat. Helpful for organizing/planning remotely among staff during school closures.
